The final chapter of the grim Skautfold saga is right around the corner. Publisher Red Art Games has announced that the game Skautfold: Knight’s End will be released on Nintendo Switch on December 17, 2026.
Combat System Features
The game features a unique combat system centered around the "Guard" mechanic—a protective barrier that simultaneously serves as a resource for attacks. Battles unfold on a timeline where every action has its cost, preparation time, and cooldown.
- Active Defense: the ability to block, dodge, or parry enemy strikes to reduce damage to zero and build up combos.
- Enemy Weaknesses: react to opponents' defensive stances with the correct attack types to deal devastating damage.
- Status Effects: each strike inflicts debuffs or opens up an opportunity for powerful chain combinations.
Story and Exploration
The events unfold during the final days of humanity. The Moon has shattered, unleashing cosmic horror, and its debris threatens to destroy all life on Earth. Players will assume the role of Lennesia Britannia, the First Knight of the Angelic Empire, who heads to the Waltham Industries factory to save a loved one and discover the conclusion of Alfred Waltham's story.
Knight’s End will serve as the culmination of the events of Shrouded in Sanity, Usurper, Into the Fray, and Moonless Knight, concluding the entire Skautfold series.
