Idea Factory and Compile Heart have officially announced Dokapon Kingdom Connect 2, a full-fledged sequel to the cult-classic blend of board game and RPG. The project is being developed for two console generations at once: Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
New Features and Large-Scale Battles
The sequel will retain its signature spirit of friendly rivalry while offering fans plenty of new features:
- The deepest character customization in the series' history;
- Large-scale cooperative battles with unique rewards;
- Updated netcode for smooth online play.
The release of Dokapon Kingdom Connect 2 for Switch and Switch 2 is scheduled for summer 2027.
