Nintendo is preparing a massive celebration for the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda franchise. Among the many surprises is the release of the special limited Switch 2 The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition and a standalone Pro Controller.

What is hidden under the dock cover?

It has been revealed that buyers of the limited console can look forward to a charming "Easter egg" inside the dock. If you remove the rear cover of the port compartment, you can see a secret image:

• Classic retro sprites of Link and Princess Zelda holding Triforce pieces;
• Two full rows of heart containers.

Nintendo has a long tradition of leaving hidden messages in its hardware, and the anniversary Switch 2 console continues this trend nicely.
