Significant Leap in Graphics and Performance
A new video has appeared online featuring a detailed comparison of The Witcher 3's graphics between the original Nintendo Switch console and the next-generation Nintendo Switch 2. Although the developers did an incredible job at the time by managing to port Geralt's massive world to the first Switch, the new version for Switch 2 demonstrates a radically different level of quality.
Key Improvements in the Switch 2 Version:
- Stable and higher frame rate in dynamic scenes and densely populated locations, such as Novigrad;
- Significantly increased resolution and texture clarity;
- Improved object draw distance and lighting quality;
- Reduced location loading times.
The comparison clearly shows that the more powerful Switch 2 hardware unlocks the full visual potential of the updated cult masterpiece from CD Projekt RED in a portable format.
