Historic release after 30 years of waiting
An unusual release is coming to the Nintendo Switch hybrid console: the long-lost retro game Moto X will finally see the light of day. The game's premiere is scheduled for October 16, 2026.
The project has a very interesting development history. The Software Creations studio developed this motocross simulator commissioned by publisher Trimark Interactive back in 1994 for the original Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) console. Despite the game's development being fully completed, it never hit the market.
A second life thanks to Piko Interactive
Publisher Piko Interactive, which specializes in the preservation and release of unreleased retro games, has brought the title back to life, allowing fans of the classics to experience authentic 16-bit gameplay directly on Nintendo Switch.
