It has been revealed that the classic danmaku shooter Touhou Koumakyou: New Classic – the Embodiment of Scarlet Devil will receive a physical release for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. The cartridge release is scheduled for December 17, 2026.
Currently, boxed versions have been announced exclusively for the Japanese market, but orders are already open for import. Great news for fans of the franchise is that the game will include full English language support right out of the box.
