The co-op adventure Split Fiction on Switch 2 has received an updated physical edition format. While the game was previously distributed only digitally or as a "code-in-box", buyers now have access to the Game-Key Card option.
A New Format for Collectors
Although players typically prefer full cartridges with the game recorded on them, the Game-Key Card format is a significant step forward compared to a simple sheet of paper with a code. It provides a more tangible item for the physical shelves of Switch 2 fans.
What is Split Fiction About?
Split Fiction is a co-op action-adventure game from the creators of the hit It Takes Two. The story follows two writers, Mio and Zoe (one writes science fiction, the other fantasy), who find themselves trapped inside their own fictional worlds due to a device that steals creative ideas.
Key features of the project include:
- Full split-screen co-op gameplay;
- The Friend’s Pass system, which allows you to invite a partner to play for free cross-platform;
- Constantly shifting mechanics and settings—from taming dragons to cyber-ninja battles.
