Rayman Legends: Retold Release for Switch 2 Postponed to December 3, 2026

Ubisoft has announced the postponement of the release of Rayman Legends: Retold for the Switch 2 console to December 3, 2026.

Ubisoft has officially announced a change of plans regarding the release of Rayman Legends: Retold for the Switch 2 platform. The release was initially expected on October 1, but the game's launch has now been postponed to December 3, 2026.

What's New in Rayman Legends: Retold?

Rayman Legends: Retold is a massive reimagining of the classic platformer with new plot twists, additional worlds, an updated Kung Foot mode, and an expanded soundtrack by Christophe Héral and Grant Kirkhope. For the first time in the series' history, all characters will receive full voice acting.

The developers have also significantly modernized the visuals: a new 3D perspective dynamically changes camera angles and adds depth to familiar levels. In addition to updated content, players can look forward to 4 brand-new musical levels and challenges in the Cave of Trials.

Editions and Bonus — Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition

The standard package of each edition includes not only the game itself, but also Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition — an enhanced version of the previous installment featuring 4K resolution support, 60 FPS, and haptic feedback.

  • Standard Edition: Base game and Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition.
  • Deluxe Edition (Digital): Game, Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition, The Retro Pack costume set, and a digital art gallery.
  • Launch Edition (Physical): Game, Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition, a printed Glade of Dreams map, a set of 3 lithographs, and a collector's slipcase.

For pre-ordering any edition, players will receive the Hoodlum Havoc bonus pack featuring two costumes for Rayman and Globox inspired by Rayman 3.
