The turn-based roguelike Quest of Dungeons, which was previously released on the original hybrid console, will receive an updated edition for Switch 2. The release in the digital eShop is scheduled for August 27, 2026, at a price of $8.99.
Features of the Switch 2 Version
The edition for the next-generation console will receive a number of improvements, including:
- Mouse control support for more convenient navigation.
- A new Mansion Abyss challenge mode, designed for seasoned players seeking an extra challenge.
About the Game
Quest of Dungeons is a classic turn-based dungeon crawler in a 16-bit retro style. An evil Dark Lord has stolen all the light, and the player must choose one of four classes (Warrior, Wizard, Assassin, or Shaman), descend into procedurally generated dungeons, and defeat the enemy.
The game features procedural generation of weapons and levels, permadeath for heroes, boss battles, equipment trading, and global leaderboards.
