Geralt's Return to the Next Generation
The release of The Witcher III: Wild Hunt – Remastered for the next-generation Switch 2 console will take place on September 29, 2026. Players can expect an updated version of the legendary adventure with improved visuals and performance.
How to Get the Upgrade on Switch 2?
All owners of the original Switch version will receive the remaster completely free of charge. However, the download process has an important nuance:
- On Switch 2, the update will not be a standard automatic patch for the old version.
- Players will need to find The Witcher 3 Remastered page in the Nintendo eShop and download the game as a completely separate application.
Check for available storage space and get ready to set out in search of Ciri once again starting tomorrow!
