Nintendo representative Bill Trinen shared his thoughts on which game is the best starting point for exploring the iconic The Legend of Zelda series. According to him, the updated The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the Switch 2 console is an "ideal starting place" for players who have never experienced Link's adventures before.

In a recent interview with IGN, Trinen emphasized that the plot of Ocarina of Time lays the groundwork for all subsequent installments in the franchise and reveals the core themes of the universe.
«This is the ideal entry point for your first Zelda game because this is where you learn everything about the world and the characters, which serves as the foundation for all the other games that came out later. This story tells of Link’s journey to becoming a hero, his connection with Zelda, and their confrontation with Ganondorf. It conveys the main moral of the entire series: the combination of wisdom and courage can always overcome power», noted Bill Trinen.
