The developers of the cult horror series Yomawari have presented a new accolades trailer for their unusual game Village in the Shade. The project is already available to players on the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 consoles.
A Cozy Village with Grim Rules
The events unfold in the picturesque Japanese mountain village of Kagatsu, completely hand-drawn. Players are invited to develop their own homestead, grow crops, fish, hunt, and get to know the locals. However, something eerie lurks behind the pastoral atmosphere, and surviving in the village requires strictly following a few simple rules: do not speak to strangers, do not leave the boundaries of the settlement, and under no circumstances go outside at night.
