A New Direction for the Ninjala Series
The announcement of Ninjala 2 was one of the most unexpected surprises at the Nintendo Direct presentation. Years after the release of the original game, the developers decided to radically change the concept: instead of a competitive PvP format, players can expect a full-fledged open-world action game.
Why an Open World and Dropping Gacha Mechanics
The game's creators explained that they wanted to give players the opportunity to freely explore the universe and fully enjoy the signature ninja parkour without the constant pressure of online competition.
- Freedom of exploration: a large-scale map with plenty of secrets, quests, and interactive elements.
- No gacha: the team has completely abandoned loot boxes and randomized item acquisition mechanics in favor of fair progression.
- Focus on story and action: the new installment is centered on an exciting solo and co-op adventure.
The release of Ninjala 2 is expected next year.
