Return of the Arcade Classic from Data East
The Arcade Archives retro re-release series continues to add classic titles. This week, the lineup will be expanded by the iconic action platformer Karnov, whose release on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 is scheduled for September 10, 2026.
Features of the Game Karnov
The original Karnov debuted in arcades in 1987. It is a dynamic side-scroller where players control a mighty hero capable of breathing fire and using various power-ups to navigate challenging levels and fight dangerous enemies.
