The annual Japan Game Awards 2026 ceremony, celebrating outstanding achievements in the video game industry, took place in Japan. The evening proved to be exceptionally successful for both Nintendo and the company's numerous partners.
The Main Winner and Other Laureates
The top award of the year (Grand Award) was claimed by Pokémon Pokopia. In addition, the Pokémon franchise received an honorary award from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan.
