Unexpected Return of Retro Sports Classics
Publisher Rock It Games delivered a pleasant surprise for retro gaming fans by announcing and immediately releasing the Jaleco Sports Faceoffs collection for the Nintendo Switch console.
This compilation features classic sports titles from the NES and SNES era, including genuine rarities that were previously almost impossible to find or purchase on physical media.
What Is Included in the Collection?
Players will gain access to iconic sports simulators from Jaleco, including:
- Pro Sports Hockey (NES, 1993) — a rare late-lifecycle hockey title for the platform;
- USA Ice Hockey (SNES, 1994) — its 16-bit older sibling;
- Classic streetball games, including Hoops and Moero Junior Basket;
- Other nostalgic retro projects from Jaleco.
The collection is already available for download on the Nintendo eShop digital store.
