Cowabunga! TRAILMARK Games has announced the digital release of the updated arcade beat ’em up Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants - Ninja Edition on Nintendo Switch 2. The physical edition of the game will hit store shelves as early as October 9.
What's New in Ninja Edition?
The Ninja Edition offers an expanded roster and significant technical improvements designed specifically for the power of the next-generation console:
- New Playable Characters: For the first time, players can play as Master Splinter and Casey Jones in both solo mode and local co-op.
- Improved Graphics and Performance: The game runs at a stable 60 FPS with 1080p resolution in handheld mode and 4K when docked.
- Visual Upgrades: HDR support, faster load times, dynamic shadows, improved lighting, anti-aliasing, and reflection effects.
Game Features
Based on the 2012 Nickelodeon animated series, the game is inspired by classics such as Turtles in Time. Players can expect six stages and 13 boss battles (including three new stages not featured in the original arcade version), original voice acting from the animated series cast, and four-player local co-op.
