Co-op hit It Takes Two is coming to Nintendo Switch 2
Great news for fans of quality cooperative adventures: the famous co-op game It Takes Two from Hazelight Studios and publisher Electronic Arts is officially heading to the next-generation console — Nintendo Switch 2.
Initial information about the re-release surfaced thanks to Asian video game distributor Prowell Asia Holdings, after which the release received official confirmation. The release of the updated version of the game is scheduled for October 15, 2026.
What players can expect on the new platform:
- Improved graphics and higher frame rates compared to the original release on the first Switch;
- Full support for the signature co-op mode both locally and online;
- Utilization of additional technical capabilities of the new Switch 2 console.
It Takes Two previously earned the "Game of the Year" title and won millions of hearts thanks to its inventive gameplay requiring seamless coordination between two players. Soon, players will be able to experience the touching story of Cody and May with new quality on Switch 2.
