Publisher Idea Factory International has revealed details of the limited and standard physical editions of the popular otome visual novel sequel 9 R.I.P. for the Nintendo Switch console. Pre-orders on the official IFI online store open on September 17, with the game's release scheduled for October 27, 2026.
Limited Edition Contents
The collector's edition will offer fans a variety of exclusive items:
- Hardcover artbook;
- Traditional Japanese paper fortune slip Omikuji;
- Love amulet Omamori;
- Set of 9 double-sided art cards in a decorative envelope along with a wooden stand;
- Acrylic stand frame;
- Collector's box;
- Reversible game cover;
- Set of trading cards and an exclusive card from the IFI store.
Both the standard and limited editions will include a bonus set of nine trading cards (eight with a regular finish and one random holographic) featuring the protagonist's nine potential romantic partners.
What Is the Sequel About?
The events of the game continue the endings of the original 9 R.I.P. Protagonist Misa Isshiki faces new romantic challenges and the consequences of her past actions. Players can look forward to 9 full story routes, featuring direct continuations of both the "Heavenly Routes" and sweet "Godly Routes," with stunning visual style from character designer Yuuya.
