The developers of the upcoming action game Armatus have shared a fresh 10-minute continuous gameplay video demonstrating the project's current state of development. The game's release on Switch 2 is scheduled for January 7, 2027.
Paris Under Demonic Siege
Armatus is a third-person shooter with roguelite elements set in the ruins of a demon-infested Paris. Players take on the role of the last supernatural warrior of an ancient order who embarks on a quest to find the lost gate to heaven—the Sunless Gate.
Combat System and Gameplay Features
- Death is only the beginning: each run requires combining melee weapons (a scythe) and various firearms against brutal monsters.
- Combat style progression: the ability to unlock powerful celestial abilities and passive upgrades.
