Metal Sonic May Appear in the Battle Royale Fortnite
During the recent Club Chaos Livestream, SEGA shared a number of announcements regarding the future of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. One of the featured videos was dedicated to the Sonic collaboration with the popular battle royale Fortnite.
The developers left the main surprise for the end of the video: after the "To Be Continued" text, the recognizable red eyes of Metal Sonic—the blue hedgehog's arch-rival—appeared on screen for a brief moment. Although a full announcement has not yet been made, such a teaser clearly hints at the metallic doppelganger's imminent arrival in the game.
Major Crossover in Fortnite
As part of the current season, Fortnite: Chapter 7 Season 4 - Override, players have already been able to encounter many iconic gaming characters, including Joker from Persona 5, Mega Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Sonic and friends. It seems this roster will soon be joined by another iconic SEGA villain.
