Return to old-school dungeons
Publisher KEMCO has officially announced plans to release the role-playing dungeon crawler METRO QUESTER ZERO on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 consoles.
The game's world is set in a post-apocalyptic future, the concept of which was created by manga author Kazushi Hagiwara. Game design was handled by Hironori Kato, who aimed to convey the excitement and depth of classic 1980s computer hack-and-slash RPGs.
Key game features:
- Mysteries of a fallen world: discover the reasons behind the collapse of civilization, the origin of creepy creatures, and the role of a mysterious blue-haired girl.
- Exploration and survival: manage fuel supplies, defeat enemies, liberate bases, recruit companions, and map uncharted territories using auto-mapping.
- Layer Turn battle system: fast-paced turn-based battles where allies and opponents can act multiple times per round, requiring thoughtful tactics and turn-order control.
- Deep equipment customization: find various weapons, upgrade gear, and endow it with unique random properties.
- New features: new characters with a Skill Panel tree, time-limited contracts, dangerous boss hunts, and six interconnected world layers.
