Publisher Arc System Works America has announced the opening of the Nintendo eShop page and the launch of digital pre-orders for the tactical RPG Demons’ Night Fever. The project's release on Nintendo Switch is scheduled for October 22, 2026.
Alongside this, the developers presented a new trailer set to the main theme "Dropout" by artist syudou, showcasing dynamic battles and unusual mechanics of the upcoming game.
An Unconventional Tactical RPG from Genre Veterans
The project is produced by Sohei Niikawa (known for the Disgaea series), with development handled by studios SuperNiche and Drecom. Demons’ Night Fever features classic turn-based grid combat, but with dark humor and a "Peon Exploitation System" mechanic, where players must ruthlessly sacrifice their own allies to achieve victory.
According to the plot, the almighty demon Giga Super Death was one step away from defeating God, but suddenly turned into a helpless infant. Thanks to a pre-prepared revival ritual, he forms a bizarre pact with a gloomy youth named Killshiro Katanaka, who despises the entire world.
Key Features of Demons’ Night Fever:
- Brutal Tactical Battles: Detonate your own minions to inflict colossal damage on enemies.
- Progression Through Crimes: Earn special villainy points through kidnappings and base heists, building an army of ultimate evil.
- A World That Changes with Every Chapter: After defeating each boss, the game's setting completely transforms—from battles against superheroes to the elimination of magical girls.
In addition to the digital version, pre-orders for physical editions of the game have appeared at retailers, including Amazon, with the release also set for October 22.
