CRKD Launches Global Sales of the Nitro Deck 2 Gamepad

CRKD has launched global sales of the Nitro Deck 2 — a controller for Switch 2 and the original Switch featuring new drift-free sticks priced at $99.99.

Updated Flagship Controller for Switch and Switch 2

CRKD has announced the start of global shipping for the Nitro Deck 2 handheld controller. The novelty is designed with the new generation Switch 2 in mind, while offering full backward compatibility with the original Nintendo Switch and Switch OLED.

New CaptiStick Sticks and Improved Ergonomics

The controller's main technical upgrade is the CaptiStick™ technology — capacitive sticks that have replaced Hall effect sensors. They completely eliminate the risk of drift, offer adjustable resistance, are protected against electromagnetic interference, and consume significantly less power, extending the console's battery life.

For secure mounting of consoles of various sizes, CRKD developed an extendable twist lock on a rubberized back panel, and a special adapter is included in the box for older revisions.

Key Features of Nitro Deck 2:

  • Versatility: low-latency wired connection support, as well as Bluetooth for gaming on PC, smartphones, and Smart TVs.
  • Ergonomic Design: offset right stick for a natural grip, improved body contours, and a new sturdy metal kickstand.
  • Flexible Customization: swappable stick tops and D-Pads, programmable back paddles, as well as additional L2/R2 shoulder buttons.
  • Fine Tuning: support for gyroscope, turbo mode, vibration adjustment, and deadzone configuration via the proprietary CRKD CTRL app.

Pricing and Editions

Nitro Deck 2 is already available to order on the manufacturer's official website and on Amazon priced at $99.99 / €99.99. The controller is offered in four colors: White, Smoke Black, retro-style PAL Grey, and a Fusion Limited Edition variant created in collaboration with Limited Run Games.
