Crazy Racing Heads to South America
During a press conference at Brasil Game Show 2026, SEGA officially unveiled Brazil as the next location for the new arcade game Crazy Taxi: World Tour. The trailer for the new map was personally presented by the original series creator and project producer Kenji Kanno.
The Brazilian map will be the fourth of five available in the game's new story campaign. Players will be able to race through colorful city streets, explore the coastline, and see familiar real-world brands and venues such as Habib's, Fogo de Chão, and Fast Shop, while preserving the franchise's signature atmosphere.
Creator's Comments and Release
“The striking contrast between Brazil's dense, eclectic alleys and modern urban life greatly inspired our team,” noted Kenji Kanno. “Along with the vibrant beaches and incredible nature, we aim to fully immerse players in Brazil's dynamic energy.”
The release of Crazy Taxi: World Tour is scheduled for 2027 on the Switch 2 console.
