Indie studio Panpipe Studio has officially announced its new project — the colorful puzzle-platformer Colorbound. The game will be released on October 12, 2026, simultaneously across all current platforms, including Nintendo Switch and the next-generation Switch 2 console.
Color Magic and Physics Puzzles
At the core of the gameplay is an unusual color manipulation mechanic. Players collect various colors onto their palette, each endowed with unique physical properties. For example, some colors make painted objects lighter, causing them to float upwards, while others weigh objects down and pull them downward. This approach requires logical and out-of-the-box thinking from the player when solving spatial puzzles.
A Touching Story and Andean Culture
The game's protagonist is a boy named Anku from the Aymara people, who possesses the ability to alter the world using paints. His goal is to reunite his late grandfather's musical band for one final farewell performance.
