Nintendo has presented two new commercials for the highly anticipated remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which will be released on November 5 exclusively for the next-generation Switch 2 console.
The Return of the Legend with New Features
The updated classic will offer players completely reworked graphics, full voice acting for cutscenes with expanded dialogues, and a fully symphonic orchestral soundtrack. In addition, the project will receive a number of unique innovations:
- Interactive Ocarina: thanks to the built-in microphone in Switch 2, players can hum tunes or play a real instrument, making Link's in-game ocarina react to live music.
- Hall of Fallen Heroes: a special hall with monuments to defeated enemies where you can learn their history and challenge bosses to battle again.
- Integration with ZELDA NOTES: a service in the mobile app that will help you get maximum details during your walkthrough.
The company also announced the release of two new amiibo figures in 2027, which will unlock exclusive in-game masks. The remake is timed to celebrate the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda franchise.
