The comedy-detective visual novel Zombie Police: Midsummer Unhappy New Year has received a new trailer showcasing a funny yet intricate investigation process. The game will be released on PC via Steam on November 22, 2026, and will later arrive on Nintendo Switch.
Zombies on Guard of Justice
Players will take on the role of an unusual zombie detective, Akemi Kabane. Together with the fearless zombie detective and her extremely serious partner Yasu Tamura, she takes on the investigation of a mysterious incident involving a VTuber and a supernatural threat looming over the village of Shimofuri.
The game's main feature is the Zombie Dive mechanic, which allows players to dive into suspects' memories and even inspect surrounding objects in search of hidden clues.
