The Iconic Shooter Comes to Nintendo's Next-Generation Console
It has been officially announced that the shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will be released on the Nintendo Switch 2 platform on October 23, 2026. Pre-orders are already open on the Nintendo eShop.
Open Beta Testing at the End of August
For those wishing to try the game before release, Activision and Nintendo will hold open beta testing on Nintendo Switch 2. The beta version will be available from August 28 to September 1, 2026 (starting at 20:00 Kyiv time). Beta client preloading is already open.
As part of the testing, players will have access to:
- Classic online multiplayer modes;
- A standalone campaign story mission;
- The large-scale Ground War mode;
- Exclusive rewards for participating in the beta test, which will carry over to the full version of the game after the official release.
