The developers of the battle royale Apex Legends have announced the launch of a new season titled Cipher. The update is already available to players on all platforms, including PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and the new Nintendo Switch 2 console.
Main Features of the Season:
- Crypto Rework: The legend received a major drone firmware update. Instead of a long cooldown, the drone now runs on battery power and features a new Sentry Mode that automatically scans and tags enemies within line of sight.
- Akimbo Wingman: The ability to dual-wield revolvers simultaneously, adding deadly firepower at close and medium range.
- Strongholds: New zones with valuable loot, where players will have to fight for a significant tactical advantage.
- Balance Adjustments and Legend Bans: Revenant and Lifeline received buffs, and a Ranked Legend Bans system has been introduced to the ranked mode.
