The stylish cinematic puzzle game American Arcadia has officially received a physical release for the Nintendo Switch console. Players and collectors can purchase both the standard edition and an expanded collector's edition.
Escape from a 70s TV Show
The game is set in Arcadia, a retro-futuristic utopia where every resident is an unwitting star of a 24/7 reality show. If a character's ratings drop, they face a death sentence. The protagonist, Trevor Mills, tries to escape camera surveillance by solving puzzles and using outside help.
Contents of the Physical Editions
Two options have been prepared for fans of physical copies:
- Standard Edition: a cartridge with the full game and a reversible cover.
- Collector’s Edition: the game with a reversible cover, a retro-TV-shaped collector's box, a set of TV Zapping Cards, a large 230-page artbook, Comet magnetic pins, and an original soundtrack (OST) disc.
The game features a mix of 2.5D first-person and third-person platforming, as well as a star-studded voice cast including Yuri Lowenthal (Spider-Man), Krizia Bajos (Cyberpunk 2077), and Cissy Jones (Firewatch).
