Tokyo-based publisher and developer Cygames has announced the release of the first project under its new brand, CygamesEdge. The adventure game Where the Seeds Fall, created in collaboration with studio ZEREO, is now available on Switch 2 for $9.99.
For those who wish to test the game before purchasing, a free demo has also arrived on the digital store.
Descent Through a Ruined World
Where the Seeds Fall is an exciting action-adventure project in which the main protagonist, along with a mysterious girl ("Fell Child"), must make a dangerous descent through the branches of the majestic World Tree. Players will have to maneuver between unstable platforms, withstand strong gusts of wind, and seek safe paths downward.
Story and Post-Game Content
The events unfold in a world ruined by a mysterious blight (Blight), which forced humanity to settle on the branches of a giant tree. Having lost everything, the protagonist meets a girl considered a harbinger of calamity. She reminds him of his deceased daughter, so he decides to disobey orders and guide her to the surface.
Game features include:

- Additional high-difficulty maps and a Time Trial mode after completing the main story.
The CygamesEdge brand was created specifically to support small and medium-sized development teams, and Where the Seeds Fall has become its debut release.
