Publisher Annapurna Interactive and solo developer, musician, and creative coder Steph Thirion have announced the release of their new game Faraway. The atmospheric arcade puzzle game became available today for players on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.
Cosmic Journey and Constellations
Faraway is a minimalist yet demanding game featuring procedural level generation. The story follows a falling star that creates constellations to survive in boundless space. The project offers a deep immersive experience thanks to its real-time visual style and interactive musical accompaniment.
Game Features:
- Unique gameplay: randomly generated levels suitable for both short sessions and long runs.
- Signature style: the project was created solo by the author of the cult game Eliss.
- Availability across two generations: the game is optimized for the original Nintendo Switch and the new Switch 2.
