Gladiator auto-battler Dominus Gladiatus released on Nintendo Switch

Dominus Gladiatus has been released on Nintendo Switch — a tactical gladiator school simulator and auto-battler set in Ancient Rome.

Studios Brain Seal Ltd and PlayWay S.A. have announced the release of the game Dominus Gladiatus on Nintendo Switch. The project combines in-depth gladiator school management with tactical auto-battler fights, offering players the chance to lead their own ludus and forge a path to glory in Ancient Rome.

The Path to the Arena Championship

At the start of the playthrough, you choose your Dominus, each possessing unique advantages. The leaders you do not select will become your rivals: they will develop their own schools of fighters and compete with you for the season's main title.

Players must build their school from scratch — hiring fighters, unlocking hidden talents, expanding training halls, and caring for staff. It is important to carefully monitor the gladiators' morale, injuries, and fatigue, as overexertion can cost the best warrior their life.

Tactical Auto-Battles and Equipment

Victory in the arena is forged long before the duel begins. You will have to equip fighters with authentic Roman weapons and armor, configure tactical formations, and select combat skills. Additionally, the favor of the crowd plays an important role — support from the stands can determine whether your warrior survives in the event of defeat.

Key Features of the Game:

  • Choice of Dominus: lead your school and compete with other masters for the championship;
  • Ludus Management: develop infrastructure and meet the needs of subordinates;
  • Gladiator Progression: turn inexperienced recruits into legendary champions;
  • Roman Arsenal: a large selection of weapons, armor, and specialized combat styles;
  • Tactical Auto-Battler: intense duels and team battles where strategy and preparation are decisive.
