Life in the Wild West is becoming even more dangerous and exciting! A major update titled "Bandits & Bounties" has been released for the cozy cowboy life simulator Cattle Country, bringing plenty of fresh content, random events, and new gameplay mechanics to the game.
Bounty Hunting and Bandit Camps
A new way to earn money has appeared in town: wanted posters for dangerous criminals can now be found near the sheriff's office. Players must track down bandits in the wilderness, neutralize them, and return to Sheriff Tom for their reward. Additionally, while exploring the map, you can stumble upon entire robber camps and clear them out for loot.
Shop Robberies and Shootouts
Danger has also reached peaceful buildings. Random bandit raids can now occur at the general store, butcher shop, carpenter's workshop, and bank. If the player happens to be nearby at that moment, they will have to take part in a dynamic shootout to protect the residents and businesses.
New Equipment, Crafting, and Customization
The update also makes life easier for farmers and adventurers:
- Toolbelt: Allows crafting on the go without using a workbench.
- Extra Large Bag: Expands inventory space up to four full rows.
- New crafting stations: Traps for harvesting animal resources, a stone processor for finding gems, and a tailor's table for sewing clothes and hats.
- More style: Added new outfits, accessories, and red hair color for the character creator.
Fishing and Technical Improvements
Every Tuesday and Saturday, a special boat appears near the dock, taking players to a secret fishing spot with fish from all seasons. The developers have also expanded townsfolk dialogues, removed the cap on displaying over 9,999 items in the inventory, improved environmental animations, and fixed a number of technical bugs related to controls and saves.
