Publisher Drecom and developer D4 Enterprise have announced a re-release of the classic Super Famicom version of the cult role-playing game Wizardry VI: Bane of the Cosmic Forge. The release is scheduled for 2027 for PC and "other platforms".
Return of a Legendary Classic
The original version of Wizardry VI for the 16-bit Super Famicom console (the Japanese counterpart of the SNES) was renowned for its updated visual style, soundtrack, and adapted interface. Now, the developers plan to give a second life to this retro classic on modern platforms.
