A massive return of the beloved nonogram series
Studio Jupiter has officially announced the development of a new installment in its popular logic puzzle lineup — Picross S Climax. The project is scheduled for release simultaneously across two console generations: the original Nintendo Switch and the new Nintendo Switch 2.
The game will be released on December 10, 2026.

Picross S Climax is positioned as a true climactic release for fans of nonograms. The new title will offer not only new challenges, but also a massive collection of time-tested content:
- Puzzles from all numbered installments of the series (from Picross S to Picross S9) in one edition;
- Improved quality-of-life features and an adapted interface for Switch and Switch 2;
- Various game modes, including classic Picross, Mega Picross, Color Picross, and Clip Picross.
The developers promise to reveal more details regarding the unique features of the Nintendo Switch 2 version closer to the release.
