Studios Chuhai Labs and Balor Games have announced the release of the rail shooter Wild Blue Skies on the Nintendo Switch console. The game is already available for purchase in the digital store for $14.99.
A Spiritual Successor to N64-Era Classics
The project was inspired by iconic flight shooters from the Nintendo 64 and PlayStation 1 era (notably the legendary Star Fox series), combining classic arcade gameplay with vibrant anime visuals. The game is aimed at both genre veterans and newcomers, offering simple controls along with depth for true high-score masters.
Wild Blue Skies Features:
- Dynamic aerial combat: Lead the elite Blue Bombers squadron under the command of Bowie Stray on a mission to save the world.
- Variety of locations: Battles against waves of enemies and colossal bosses over oceans, deserts, and treacherous caves.
- Replayability: Branching mission paths, hidden secrets, and a medal system for high achievements.
Wild Blue Skies is now available for download on Nintendo Switch for both handheld mode and TV play.
