The cult sci-fi visual novel STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT has officially launched on Nintendo Switch and the brand-new Switch 2. The updated version invites both series veterans and newcomers to dive once again into an exciting story about time travel and altering fates.
What's new in RE:BOOT?
The remake offers a massive visual and technical overhaul of the classic game:
- Completely updated graphics and interface: the locations of legendary Akihabara are recreated with incredible detail and authenticity.
- A fresh look at the characters: designer huke returned to create new modern costume and accessory designs for Rintaro Okabe and his team.
- New original storyline scenario: the game not only retells the familiar story, but also significantly expands the universe with new events and dialogue.

The story follows a group of talented students led by the eccentric "mad scientist" Rintaro Okabe, whose invention accidentally gains the ability to send messages to the past, triggering a chain reaction of global conspiracies and timeline chaos.
