Psychological thriller What have you done, Father? coming to Switch 2 on September 10

Psychological thriller What have you done, Father? will be released on Switch 2 on September 10, 2026, featuring 2K support and improved frame rates.

Studio Making Port announced that the psychological thriller What have you done, Father? from Romanian developer Darkania Works will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 on September 10, 2026.

Full native version

Unlike the standard version for the original Switch, which ran on the next-generation console via backward compatibility, this is a full native build for Switch 2. The developers completely adapted the game for the new hardware, providing 2K resolution support and increased frame rates, bringing visual quality closer to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S levels.

Mysteries of a Transylvanian parish

The events of the game unfold in the 1940s in Transylvania. Players will take on the role of a young priest, Mathias Marton, who finds himself entangled in a forbidden relationship that leads to tragedy — a woman is found dead in his house. The noir cinematic atmosphere unfolds through diaries, photographs, and the parish's locked rooms.

Key features on Switch 2:

  • Native version built specifically for Switch 2;
  • 2K resolution support for a crisp image;
  • High and stable frame rate;
  • Full narrative experience: first-person exploration, puzzles, and cinematic dialogue;
  • Expanded language support.

The game will be released on the Nintendo eShop on September 10, priced between $10 and $15 depending on the region.
