Combat Pastries and Saving the Home Tree
Publisher The Arcade Crew and studio Splashteam, known for the wonderful platformer Tinykin, have showcased a new trailer for their next game — Acornia: Mirror Worlds. The release of this adventure blend of action and shop simulation is scheduled for the Switch 2 console in 2027.
The main protagonist is Alva the squirrel, who returns to her home village inside a giant tree to run a dessert shop. However, the harmful influence of the dark dimension Duramen has scattered the local residents and warped the settlement. To restore the town, Alva will have to combine entrepreneurship with exploring dangerous dungeons.
Gameplay Features:
- Sweet Weaponry: Alva bakes cakes and pies, stuffs her cheeks with them, and shoots them at evil spirits. As a last resort, an enemy can simply be swallowed and hurled at another adversary!
- Farming and Automation: Grow ingredients yourself, expand the menu, and hire staff to take care of the routine in the bakery.
- Settlement Life: Complete quests for neighbors, take part in seasonal festivals, and build up the reputation of your treats.
