Studios Amazon Game Studios and Crystal Dynamics are actively working on Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis — a large-scale reimagining of Lara Croft's iconic 1996 debut game. The project is scheduled for release on February 12, 2027, including on Nintendo Switch 2. However, as it turns out, the development of the version for Nintendo's new console is being handled by a separate team.
Who is porting Lara's adventure to Switch 2?
In a comment to the publication Nintendo-Online, the developers confirmed that the Switch 2 version is being created by an "external partner". At the same time, the main team is working closely with the outsource team to ensure the highest quality of the port and preserve the original gameplay experience.
The specific name of the partner studio is currently being kept secret.
