Cultural media company ARTE France and indie studio Oopsie Daisies have announced the release of the unusual narrative adventure Tom the Postgirl on Nintendo Switch.
Plot and Secrets of Other People's Homes
The game tells the story of a mischievous postgirl named Tom, whose ordinary delivery routes always turn into something creepy and absurd. Instead of simply delivering packages, the heroine takes every opportunity to peek through the windows and crevices of local residents' houses.
In this seemingly cozy town, every resident hides strange secrets: from a narcissistic mayor to a shelter that resembles a dog kennel, and hippies with chainsaws.
Key Features of the Game:
- Frame-by-frame animation and atmosphere: the hand-drawn visual style combines the aesthetics of children's books with dark humor in the vein of Adult Swim.
- Freedom to cause mischief: players can not only spy on quirky residents and animals, but also cause chaos — trampling flowerbeds or stealing garden gnomes.
- Multiple endings: replayability encourages exploring new details and unlocking different endings depending on the level of Tom's mischief.
