The unusual, absurdity- and satire-filled Renaissance adventure The Immortal John Triptych by developer Joe Richardson has officially arrived on the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 platforms.
A Trilogy in the Spirit of Monty Python
The collection brings together three popular humorous point-and-click quests: Four Last Things, The Procession to Calvary, and Death of the Reprobate. All three projects earned overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics and players on Steam thanks to their exquisite blend of classical Renaissance and Rococo art with absurd, at times provocative humor.
In The Immortal John Triptych, players will encounter a unique world assembled from hundreds of authentic paintings, where they will have to commit sacrilege, plot intrigues with cardinals, and solve logic puzzles.
Re-release Features:
- Full Remaster: a unified interface, cut and previously unseen bonus scenes, as well as timelapses of the game's creation process.
- Convenient Controls: classic adventure gameplay with an updated radial interaction menu ("verb coin") and full controller support.
- Classical Soundtrack: adaptive Renaissance and Medieval music recorded on authentic instruments.
- Three Separate Stories: three standalone adventures with recurring characters in a shared whimsical universe.
The collection is already available for download on the digital eShop for Nintendo's current and next-generation consoles.
