After a long wait for news about Kingdom Hearts 4, Nomura confirmed that the game is targeting a release in late 2027. Responding to fans' concerns regarding potential delays, the project's creator was categorical:
- The release is scheduled for late 2027;
- The team is sticking to the production schedule;
- The studio is confident in the timely implementation of the planned content.
Kingdom Hearts 4 will kick off a new story arc titled the "Lost Master Arc," with events unfolding in the realistic city of Quadratum.
