Spy Action Game from IO Interactive at the Nintendo Booth
Attendees of the Gamescom 2026 expo had the opportunity to personally try out the Switch 2 version of the action-adventure game 007 First Light. The demo area was set up directly at the Nintendo booth.
In the new game from the creators of the Hitman series, players are invited to discover the original origin story of James Bond—from a 26-year-old rebellious Royal Navy aviation recruit to an elite agent of the 00 program within MI6.
Features of 007 First Light:
- Stealth and Dynamic Action: Signature IO Interactive gameplay mechanics combined with the atmosphere of spy blockbusters.
- Freedom of Approach: The ability to overcome challenges using brute force, cunning, high-tech gadgets from Q, or deft diplomacy.
- Familiar and New Characters: Encounters with M, Q, and Moneypenny, as well as meeting new mentors and dangerous villains.
In addition to the opportunity to play at the booth, the first unofficial gameplay recordings of the Switch 2 version directly from the expo have already surfaced online.
