Nintendo has announced the next Emerald Rush event for Donkey Kong Bananza, which, unfortunately, will be the game's last. The final event, titled "Bananza Antics," will run from September 22 to September 29, 2026.
Last Chance to Get Unique Rewards
Participation in the event will take place on the Feast Layer level. Players who join the activities will be able to obtain exclusive collectible figurines of Funky Kong and Candy Kong.
Features of the DK Island + Emerald Rush Expansion
As a reminder, the paid expansion is available for $20 and offers a journey to the legendary DK Island alongside Donkey Kong and Pauline. Key features of the DLC include:
- Exploring iconic locations, including DK's treehouse and the Gangplank Galleon ship.
- The opportunity to take photos with old acquaintances: Diddy Kong, Dixie Kong, Cranky Kong, Rambi, and Squawks.
- A dynamic Emerald Rush mode from Void Co. featuring emerald ore gathering, smashing banandium to boost skills, and hunting for fossils.
- Decorating the island with special collectible character figurines.
Access to the Emerald Rush mode is unlocked after completing the main story of the game, speaking with one of the Elders, and using the Warp Gong.
