New content for fans of the iconic Star Fox series
Nintendo has prepared great news for fans of Fox McCloud's space adventures. Star Fox on Switch 2 will receive a major free update, and the catalog of classic retro games is also expanding.

The release of the free update is scheduled for September 29, 2026. It will include:
- A new local multiplayer battle mode;
- Three brand new battle maps.
Star Fox Adventures returns to Switch 2
In addition, the legendary Star Fox Adventures is being added today to the GameCube Classics app for Switch 2 subscribers. Players will be able to immerse themselves once again in the classic adventure journey across Dinosaur Planet.
