Spooky Fun Returns to the Kitchens of PlateUp!
Publisher Yogscast Games and the developers at It’s Happening have announced a special Halloween event for the culinary roguelike PlateUp!, coming to Nintendo Switch next week.
As part of Halloween, chaotic Trick cards return to the daily and weekly challenge boards, along with festive themed restaurant decor and a whole cauldron of new costumes inspired by other Yogscast Games titles.
New Costumes for Chefs:
- Detective costume — to investigate exactly which customer made a mess in the dining room (inspired by Dupery).
- Astronaut costume — prepare for cosmic workloads with a themed outfit styled after Glory on Pluto.
- Knight armor — protects during risky blueprint re-rolls (a nod to Dicealot).
- Witch outfit — a magical look from the puzzle game Rhell: Warped Worlds & Troubled Times.
- Medieval costume — inspired by the deckbuilding game The Royal Writ.
- Diver costume — if you are ready to handle any kind of pressure in the kitchen (in the style of The Subminer).
All new costumes and collectible cards will remain in the game permanently, and the festive Halloween content will be active until November, giving chefs plenty of time to enjoy the event.
