EA and Respawn have unveiled the official trailer for the new Halloween event for Apex Legends titled Blood Pact Event. The themed event will run from October 13 to November 2, 2026, immersing players in a mystical confrontation between Beasts and Demons on the spooky Kings Canyon map.
Wildcard Mode Features: Beasts vs. Demons
As part of the event, the Wildcard mode returns, where players will have to choose their faction. By completing objectives in each round (dealing damage, knocking down opponents), players can unlock powerful Wild Cards bonuses:
- Beasts Faction: grants increased melee movement speed, faster shield usage and weapon swapping, as well as temporary critical hits after reloading.
- Demons Faction: provides faster ability cooldowns, high-tier shields, and instant full armor restoration with just a single shield cell.
Spooky Kings Canyon and Halloween Rewards
The Kings Canyon location has received an atmospheric update: dense fog randomly blankets the map, limiting visibility. Rev Shell grenades return to the game, and the location will feature ghostly buildings, glowing Nessies, and festive pumpkin EVO orbs.
In the in-game Blood Pact Store, players will be able to purchase themed skins, including an '80s-style werewolf skin for Sparrow, a demonic skin for Alter, and an updated look for the R-99 submachine gun.
